The Georgetown Water Department (GWD) strives to operate and maintain the municipal water system cost-effectively and conservatively; while providing a safe, clean, and abundant water supply to residents and businesses for their daily needs and fire protection. Rates are established and reviewed regularly to ensure that anticipated operating costs, emergency system repairs, and necessary capital improvements can be funded with a fiscally-responsible approach.
*Please note: there is a $4.95 charge for any credit card payments, this is not a charge by the Town of Georgetown, this is charged directly by the credit card company. There is no charge to pay online via your bank account. If a credit card payment is stopped and charged back by the customer, the customer will be responsible for paying the Town of Georgetown the $20 chargeback fee. In the event of a returned check, the customer is responsible for paying the Town of Georgetown the $25 returned check fee.
