- Water Rate Increase - To continue to provide quality water to its customers, the Georgetown Water Department will implement a 25% increase on July 1, 2019 and a 25% increase on July 1, 2020. Customers will see the increase with their October 2019 quarterly bill.(Read more)
- Water Restictions - With the construction of the Marshall Well replacement underway, Georgetown Water Department has been forced to shut down the existing Marshall Well for the remainder of the summer. This will necessitate using Georgetown Water’s interconnection with Rowley Water Department and restricting outdoor water use every day between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. beginning on Wednesday, June 19, 2019.
