OLD BUSINESS: 

Action Plan Discussion 2018-2019 to include

  • Choice of 1, 2 or 3 Developmental Assets to focus efforts on building, based on the results of our 2017 Attitudes & Behavior Survey, to work on this year. 
  • Communications Strategy for COAAST, a theatrical presentation re the Opioid crisis (more people are now dying of opioid overdoses than of breast cancer) by COAAST https://www.coaast.org/- Creating Outreach About Addiction Support Together.

The GeorgetownCARES Coalition Committee (GCCC) is a community health and safety initiative seeking to encourage Georgetown citizens of all ages to make safe, healthy and responsible decisions about substance-use. Our mission is to promote substance abuse prevention strategies, education and resources aimed at making Georgetown the healthiest community it can be.
