      • A Parent/Family Speaker Series – with topics/speakers requested by parents – potential topics could include anxiety, sex education, how to listen/talk with teens, social media use & safety, supporting Special Ed students, and more.
      • A potential educational/resource initiative regarding Narcan.

The GeorgetownCARES Coalition Committee (GCCC) is a community health and safety initiative seeking to encourage Georgetown citizens of all ages to make safe, healthy and responsible decisions about substance-use. Our mission is to promote substance abuse prevention strategies, education and resources aimed at making Georgetown the healthiest community it can be.
