OLD BUSINESS:

  • Budget & Cash Flow Review for FY2021, the last year of the current host agreement with Mission Dispensary.

The GCCC has $15K to disperse/invest by June 30th to organizations filling the GCCC Mission w/programs, materials or speakers promoting substance misuse prevention and/or treatment. FY 21 is the last year of the host agreement with Mission Dispensary.

 

NEW BUSINESS: 

  • Discuss GCCC Grant/partnership opportunities for Georgetown-based organizations

Potential candidate organizations for funding include ECAB, Pettengill House, The American Legion/VFW and the Jeanne Gieger Crisis Center.

 

 

  • Discussion of how Georgetown can support #StateWithoutStigMA

Mission Statement - The GeorgetownCARES Coalition Committee (GCCC) is a community health and safety initiative seeking to encourage Georgetown citizens of all ages to make safe, healthy and responsible decisions about substance-use. Our mission is to promote substance abuse prevention strategies, education and resources aimed at making Georgetown the healthiest community it can be.
