As posted with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Office of the Secretary of State, the Executive Office of Administration and Finance, the State Reclamation and Mosquito Control Board and all subscribing communities, there will be a meeting of the Northeast Massachusetts Mosquito Control and Wetlands Management District (NEMMC) Board of Commissioners to be held on May 07, 2019 at 9:00 AM.
Agenda as follows:
- Call to order and Attendance.
- Review minutes for 04/02/19 NEMMC Commissioner’s Board Meeting (vote for action).
- Colleen Fermon, Director of Public Health, Town of Ipswich, an appreciation e-mail received for the exceptional performance of NEMMC employees during the past year.
- Challenge Coins to be issued by the Board to all NEMMC employees.
- NEMMC 3.5 % COLA Wage Scale increase Effective July 01, 2019 (vote for action).
- NEMMC 3.5% COLA for employees Effective July 01, 2019 (vote for action).
- Contract Seasonal positions update. Ten applicants applied. Six applicants were interviewed. Last year’s Seasonal Jake Greaney was rehired effective April 16, 2019. Jessica Lambert was selected and is being processed by Human Resources. We anticipate a start date on May 12th.
- Wetlands Coordinator position update. Ten applicants applied. Five applicants were interviewed on April 17, 2019.
- Public Comment/Input.
- Other business.
- Executive Session for the purpose of reviewing and approving meeting minutes taken in Executive Sessions held on January 30, 2019, and February 12, 2019, pursuant to M.G.L. c. 30A, Section 21(a)(1) (vote for action).
- The Commission will vote whether to reconvene in Open Session after the Executive Session.
