Most Applications and information about Application Fees may be found on the Planning Department's webpageCopies of the current Zoning Bylaw, the Subdivision Rules and Regulations and the Development Review Guidebook may be purchased for a fee by visiting the Planning Board Office or you may download them from this webpage.

Agendas must be posted with the Town Clerk according to Massachusetts General Law. As a courtesy, the Planning Board Office may post the agendas and approved meeting minutes on the website.

Planning Board Updates:

Development Review Guidebook: The Planning Office has developed a comprehensive Development Review Guidebook for all local land use permitting in Georgetown. A copy of the final report is available in the Planning Office. In the fall of 2014 the Guidebook was updated: contact information for the different departments was changed as necessary and some scrivener's errors were edited.

Getting Ready for the 2016 Town Meeting: The Planning Board will focus on potential Warrant Articles for the upcoming Annual Town Meeting in May 2016. Public Hearings will begin this winter and continue through the spring of this year. Once determined, copies of Planning Board proposed Warrant Articles may be found at the Planning Board Office during the regular hours of operation of the Town Hall.
