Old Business

  • Rap Program Review and Vouchers

    • Client 18-06:  we are still trying to contact hired attorney for return of deposit with no luck.
    • Client 19-01 has received news from SSD and has been approved. Her 1st payment should come on or around May 8th. Dianna (GAHT) and Diane Drinan (Georgetown Housing Authority) are working to get our client to the top of the waiting list as an 'emergency hardship' (stairs). Client is in a great deal of pain and is having difficulty getting up and down the stairs at her current unit. A ground level unit is becoming available soon at the Trestle Way location.
    • Two clients are up for review in May

  • 34 East Main
    • Monitor as a possibility for “affordable housing”
  • North Shore Consortium
    • We missed the window to get our proposal in due to a) other pressing/active projects and b) the very complex submission documentation required.
  • Palmer Lane Development has sent in their payment of $64,884.00 to the GAHT on March 14, 2019.
  • 41 East Main is in foreclosure and Dianna is working with a realtor to gather information on an auction date and/or price.
  • West Street – 40B is in place. However, it is still in the early stages of planning. I have been monitoring this from Town Hall
  • 28 Central – Sold.

NEW BUSINESS

  • 4 Park Street – A potential location to convert to a 2-bedroom home and sell as ‘affordable’ Currently is a hair salon. Paul has done a walk-through of the property. Next step (assuming septic OK) would be to walk-through with developer to flesh out reconstruction costs.
  •  Paul and Dianna met with Tony (Developer of Palmer Lane), Les (Building Inspector), and John (Planning Board) on Wednesday to discuss working together on a project.
  • Dianna and Paul will attend a CPC Seminar in Framingham in May.
  • Dianna and Paul will attend a 2-day Affordable Housing Seminar in June

  • Establish GAHT Meeting Date/Time for May
