Welcome to the Georgetown Town Clerk Webpage. Georgetown is a rural, residential community of approximately 8,500 residents. The mission of the Town Clerk is to provide the following services to the residents of Georgetown:
- Record and maintain vital records such as Birth, Death and Marriage Certificates ($10.00 per certified copy)
- Issue licenses for Marriages ($25.00)
- Dog Licenses
- Issue Burial Permits
- Issue Business Certificates ($40.00 for 4 years)
- Raffle and Bazaar Permits
- Town Meeting
- Elections Commissioner
- Register Voters
- Prepare Census and Street Listings
- Chief Records Acces Officer
Mission Statement:
The mission of the Town Clerk is to record and maintain vital records for Birth, Death and Marriage. Issue Marriages licenses and Dog licenses. To issue permits for Burial, Raffles and Bazaars. To issue Business Certificates and register voters, hold Town Meeting and all Elections and is the Chief Records Access Officer.
