Rabies Vaccination Clinic-canceled

Event Date:
Saturday, April 4, 2020 - 1:00pm to 3:00pm

The Annual Georgetown Rabies Vaccination clinic will be held Saturday, April 4, 2020 from 1-3 PM at the Georgetown Highway Department Building, 203 East Main Street.

The clinic is open to everyone, residents and non-residents, dogs and cats only, dogs on leashes and cats in carriers. All animals must be properly restrained and aggressive dogs should have a muzzle, this is for the safety of the pets and the people attending the clinic.

The cost is $10 per vaccine.

Owners need to bring any and all previous rabies vaccination certificates so we can determine if the pet is eligible for a 3 year rabies vaccination, otherwise a 1 year rabies vaccination will be given. All dogs and cats are required by law to have a current rabies vaccination. The clinic is run by The Veterinary Association of the North Shore (VANS), a non-profit organization of veterinarians. We donate our time and effort to run these rabies vaccination clinics and the proceeds go towards scholarships for local veterinary students.
