Re: Veteran’s Day Observance

Dear Georgetown Residents,

The Georgetown Rene J. Gagnon American Legion Post #211 and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #7608 invite all residents of Georgetown to participate, with us, in the 2017 Veteran’s Day Observance, to be held on Saturday, November 11, 2017, 11:00 a.m., at Harry Murch Veteran’s Park. Both Posts will be assembling at the Georgetown Park and Ride at 10:40 a.m. After assembling we will march to Harry Murch Park, perform our ceremonies and march back to the Park and Ride. In case of inclement weather, the Veteran’s Day ceremony will be held at the Georgetown Fire Department on Central St.

Following the ceremony, coffee & donuts will be served, for all participants, at the Georgetown V.F.W. Post #7608 on Andover Street.
