GEORGETOWN POLICE PRESS RELEASE
On Thursday September 29, 2011 at approximately 8:50 P.M. Georgetown Police Department responded to a 911 emergency call to The Georgetown Liquor Store on East Main Street for a report of an Armed Robbery. Upon arrival patrols confirmed that the store had been robbed. Suspect is described to be a white male in his mid 30’s 5’10” between 240 / 250lbs. Suspect walked behind the counter and assaulted both employees and then pulled out a utility knife and threatened to kill them. Suspect emptied the cash registered and fled in a white 4 door sedan (2002-2005) possibly a Camry or Altima.
