Three arrested in connection with car breaks in Georgetown, MA
On Wednesday March 26, 2008 at approximately 11:30 P.M. Georgetown Police investigated two suspicious males in the parking lot of the Longview Apartment Complex off Tenney Street.
Sgt. David Armstrong, Detective James Rodden and Officer Bonnie Silva questioned two male parties later identified as Christopher J Collins and Manuel Santiago both age 18 and from Danvers, MA. Both parties were arrested on scene and charged with breaking and entering into a motor vehicle in the night time. After further investigation, Detective Rodden arrested a third party, Robert Ashworth age 20 from Georgetown at 255 Central Street without incident at approximately 1:30 Thursday morning. A fourth arrest is expected soon. Georgetown detectives are working with surrounding communities including Newbury, Topsfield and Danvers as these communities have experienced a number of car breaks in the past 2 to 3 months.
