Registry of Deeds to present program on the Homestead Act on May 30
Georgetown – Join us on Tuesday May 30, 10 a.m. to learn how the state’s Homestead Act can provide protection of homes and property. Nancy Doherty of the Southern Essex District Registry of Deeds will be on hand to present the program as well as provide Homestead Act forms that will be notarized free of charge. Register in advance with the COAT in order to have a free copy of your deed available at the meeting. Light refreshments will be served.
