On December 10, 2008 Essex County District Attorney Jonathan W. Blodgett came to Georgetown to meet with Police Chief James E. Mulligan and Georgetown School Superintendent Carol Jacobson to sign an “Interagency Memorandum of Understanding for Schools". This document recognizes the formal working relationships agreed upon by participating agencies to provide a safe and violence-free educational setting.
