On February 26, 2008 Master Patrol Officer Scott Hatch received the 'Drive for Life Safety' award from "Mothers Against Drunk Driving" (MADD) at a breakfast meeting in Deven, MA. Master Patrolman Hatch received the award for making twenty three arrests of persons operating under the influence in 2007. This is the second year that Master Patrolman Hatch has been honored by MADD for his efforts to protect the citizen of Georgetown against those who drink and drive.
