Thanksgiving Eve Car Crash
In another accident on Thanksgiving-eve a female driver was heading into Georgetown on Central Street with her car left the road and struck a utility pole.  First 911 reports were indicating wires down in the street.  First arriving on scene was Car 5 (Capt Gosse) who took command and directed units until Car 3 (Deputy Moyer) arrived.  The impact of the crash caused the weather-head connected to house across the street to snap.  The crew from Engine 5 checked the inside of home for problems and found nothing while the crew from Rescue 1 secured the vehicle.  Also responding was Byfield's ambulance and Georgetown Car 1 (Chief Beardsley) as well as the Georgetown Police and Electric Light Department.  Fortunately there were no serious injuries and units were cleared within 30 minutes
