Welcome to the Georgetown Town Clerk Webpage. Georgetown is a rural, residential community of approximately 8,000 residents. The mission of the Town Clerk is to provide the following services to the residents of Georgetown:
Record and maintain vital records such as Birth, Death and Marriage Certificates ($5.00 per certified copy)
Issue licenses for Marriages ($25.00)
Hunting and Fishing Licenses
Dog Licenses
Issue Burial Permits
Issue Business Certificates ($25.00 for 4 years)
Raffle and Bazaar Permits
Town Meeting
Elections
Register Voters
Prepare Census and Street Listings
The Town Clerk also sells Georgetown Zoning Bylaws and Subdivision Regulations (When the Planning Board office is closed). These documents currently sell for $25.00 each. For $5.00, residents may also purchase zoning maps. Please contact the Planning Board at 978-352-5713.
