2. What are the transfer station's hours? Do we have curbside pick up?
The transfer station is run by a private contractor. Please call Mello Disposal at 978-352-8581 or 978-352-9948
3. What do we need to register a dog?
A valid updated Rabies Certificate and $10.00 if registering during registration time which is March 1st to May 31st
June 1st to June 30th $10.00 plus a $10.00 late fee = $20.00
July 1st to July 31st $10.00 plus a $15.00 late fee = $25.00
Anytime after August 1 st $10.00 plus a $25.00 late fee = $35.00
You can license by mail. Please enclose a check payable to the Town of Georgetown and enclose the rabies certificate
which will be returned to you with the tag. ALL dogs 6 months and older are required by MA Law to be licensed.
This years rabies clinic will be held on Saturday April 5th from 1-3 PM at the Highway Department which is located at 203
East Main Street.
